100,000 Views and my Overall Experience with Flickr

Earlier this week, I reached 100,000 views on my Flickr.  Reaching this many views was something that I never thought would happen to me.  When I first made my flickr account, I usually only got around ten views per photo.  Over time, I learned about adding people as contacts and adding photos to groups.  Usually people would add me ask a contact (Adding someone as a contact means that you are following them and their photos) and then begin to watch and comment on my daily photos.  There are many contacts who don't really watch my photos, but there are those few amazing people who are constantly there for me.  These are the people who taught me about flickr, give me inspiration, and give me advice about my photography.  Without these "flickr friends", I would have never gotten this far at all.  Though views really don't matter too much to me, it seems that when I acquire more views, it brings a confidence boost and an overflow of new ideas.  Receiving more contacts definitely got me more views, but more importantly they've all become my Internet friends who I can talk to about photography and just life in general.  So far, Flickr has been so amazing!  It, and the people on the site, have helped me improve on my photography so much.  Without it, I think I'd be way behind on my capabilities.  Being a part of Flickr is something that I want to continue for a very long time.

Great job Martina - I'm so proud of you! Reaching 100,000 views on Flickr is a big accomplishment... and your creativity and growth as a photographer is very impressive. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!
